DH Country Music

This just in: 2 New tracks from The Steve Palmer Band in the DH Jukebox titled "Prettiest Girl in the World" and "Stuck in a U-Haul". Tell me what you think!

My thoughts: Instrumentally it's predictable pop country. No surprises, but no real negative points for an amateur. Vocally there's just something off there... Perhaps it's the high pitch of his voice or the absolutely proper pronunciation of his words that just makes the songs sound forced and uncomfortable.

In short - The backing band could do alright in most pop-country bars, but I'm not hot on the singer at all.

Steve Palmer is a wealthy Attorney, who has spent a lot of money hiring excellent musicians to work with him. Unfortunately he also has a reputation for refusing to pay those musicians and has been the target of at least one law suit because of this.

Steve's musical abilities are so poor that he is often made fun of even by his employees. It is rumored that his wealth comes not from a successful law practice but from a divorce with a wealthy woman. In general Steve is known for being a bad musician and an all around bad person.
