But we're also home to of course Reba, Cross Canadian Ragweed, Drive By Truckers, Miranda Lambert, Blake Shelton... shall I go on?

There is a lot of good music that comes out of this state, then they disappear to the Austin music scene and never look back. I'm relatively new to OK, but why don't hometown affiliations stick?
