I graduated from high school in 1974 and in the fall of that year I moved from my hometown of
Star, North Carolina to Sanford to attend what’s now called Central Carolina Community College.

Long before the success of the movie “O Brother Where Art Thou” with it’s
soundtrack of traditional country music, Jacky and Roger True has known that this
genre of music has always had a wide appeal.
They’re a popular country duo who’s doing their part to keep the flame of real
country music burning. They started performing in October of 1990 as True and True.
